Dies ist die englischsprachige Version von Mesos. Eine deutsche Version ist separat erhältlich (51888G).
In the Mesolithic period, the Middle Stone Age, people formed tribes for the first time and divided up tasks such as hunting and building among themselves. This not only ensured their survival, but also gave rise to the first settlements. In Mesos, players found their own tribes by recruiting new members who each take on a task. By choosing the right people, they prepare themselves for the events that await them during the three ages.
The game concept of Mesos is simple at its core: if you decide to take your turn early, you can secure the most valuable cards, whereas if you take your turn later, you get several tribe members, but have little choice. Round after round, the players have to decide which strategy to use, as the cards must be chosen carefully from the open display: each tribe member takes on a specific activity, e.g. hunting, gathering, researching or building. Only the tribe that is particularly well positioned and prepared for the events will secure the greatest fame and honor.
