Coyote - Cunning, sly and charming!

One day, when Coyote was crossing the river with his friends, he almost drowned and lost everything he was carrying. Poor Coyote became very sad ... and also envious. So he challenged the other animals to a game to win their possessions. As he was a notorious swindler, he invented a game that involved a lot of bluffing. Rumor has it that it was very similar to this game!

In this bluffing game by Spartaco Albertarelli, you only ever see other people's cards, but never your own. On your turn, you have to announce a number that is less than the total sum of all the cards in the game and increase the last number announced. Alternatively, the previously announced number can also be doubted. When all the cards are then revealed, it becomes clear who has the clever coyote on their side.

Coyote is in line with our card game recommended by the Spiel des Jahres jury spicy. The game box and card backs are decorated with a special metallic print in copper color. Copper is firmly anchored in the tradition of the Northwest Coast tribes as a symbol of prosperity and cultural wealth. Artist Zona Evon Shroyer (Yupik Alaskan Native) is a master of traditional Northwest Coast art, the detail and complexity of which requires years of study and practice. For the cover illustration of Coyote, she has given the coyote a modern silhouette that is classically filled with other animal motifs: turtle, beaver and bear. The animals with which he sits around the campfire in our little story and plays a game.

A coyote never loses!
